Flashback Friday: GW-300-1 - The First Solar Powered Atomic G-Shock



Launched in 2002, the GW-300-1 was the first G-Shock to have both Waveceptor and Tough Solar, technologies introduced 2000 and 1998 respectively.

The GW-300-1 was capable of automatically receiving atomic time calibration radio signals 4 times per day, keeping its timekeeping accurate and the watch was able to function for 11 months on a full battery charge, without further exposure to light.
